Overshot assembly is used to lower and retrieve inner tube group.
Q series overshots are available in A,B,N,H and P size.Q series overshot apply to Q1 and Q2 coring system.

NQU overshot is an integral part of the NQU wireline drilling system.NQU overshot has the quick pump-in part. NQU overshot has a more small size compare to NQ overshot to be used in the small or narrow drill site space.NQU overshot needs to be used with NQU loading chamber. NQU overshot is used for the N size underground or pump-in diamond drilling application.
The Triple tube Core Barrels is available in N, H and P sizes.
When the inner-tube is full, a device called an overshot is lowered down the hole via a wireline cable and brought to the surface by use of a winch.
Once the inner-tube assembly is at the surface, an empty inner tube is lowered into the hole so drilling can resume
A Overshot is available for each size of core barrel. This is the retrieval device lowered on the wireline to recover the inner tube assembly containing core.
