JCDRILL AK60 Portable Anchor Drilling Rig: Where Portability Meets Engineering-Grade Performance

When anchor drilling moves off the easy terrain and into slope faces, tunnel portals, and confined job sites, the real question is not how big the rig is—it is whether it can get there and still deliver the torque and control the job demands.

The JCDRILL AK60 is built around that exact problem. At just 120 kg, it is a full hydraulic down-the-hole anchor drilling rig that can be broken down into separate modules for rapid transport and repositioned by hand on sites where crawler-mounted rigs cannot reach. Yet it carries a KIPOR 12 kW air-cooled diesel engine and a 20 MPa hydraulic system, delivering 1,500 N·m of torque at the top drive power head.

Built for the angle. Not just the hole.

The AK60’s 0–360° hole angle range and 1800 mm mast slide stroke allow it to drill horizontal, inclined, and upward-angle anchor holes without repositioning the entire rig. The spindle incorporates an extension mechanism that protects drilling tools while widening the achievable inclination range—particularly useful on slope faces where the collar position shifts with every row of anchors.

Specified for real anchor work.

· Hole depth: 60 m

· Hole diameter: Φ70–Φ165 mm

· Drilling rod: 76 mm × 1500 mm / 89 mm × 1500 mm

· Output speed: 30–60 r/min

· Feed stroke: 1,800 mm

· Max. lifting capacity: 40 kN

· Max. thrust force: 15 kN

The drilling guide uses hydraulic cylinder feed with a hydraulic clamp available, and the rig is compatible with carbide bit drilling, auger drilling, DTH hammer drilling, and follow-up casing drilling—one platform across overburden, weathered rock, and competent strata.

From slope stabilization to foundation reinforcement.

The AK60 is purpose-designed for heavy-duty pretension anchor holes on the side slopes of hydropower stations, railway and highway projects, and drainage systems, and is also deployed for landslide and rockfall prevention, foundation reinforcement, and small-diameter water wells. It has been specified on projects across Indonesia, Kenya, Peru, Costa Rica, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Colombia, as well as expressway anchor programs in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

ISO / CE certified. One-year warranty. Export-ready packaging.

Each unit ships in a standard export ocean-transport package, with remote control operation and full after-sales documentation including installation instructions and a warranty certificate.
