JCDRILL’s Upgraded CSD200A Drilling Rig Completed and Shipment Bound for Burkina Faso

JCDRILL has completed the production of its fully upgraded CSD200A truck-mounted water well drilling rig, which is scheduled to be shipped from China to West Africa to support local water well drilling and infrastructure construction projects.

Built on the reliable HOWO371 truck chassis, the CSD200A drilling rig features a standard maximum drilling depth of 200 meters. To further enhance operational efficiency, power performance, and construction adaptability, JCDRILL has implemented 2 core targeted upgrades to optimize the overall performance of the equipment.

The most prominent upgrade lies in the power system. The original 65kW Yunnei engine has been replaced with a high-efficiency 91kW Yuchai engine, delivering stronger power output, more stable operation, and better fuel economy. The upgraded power unit significantly improves the rig’s load capacity and continuous working capability, enabling it to adapt to complex and harsh construction environments in West Africa.

Another key optimization is the upgrade of the mud pump system. The traditional BW250 mud pump has been upgraded to a fully hydraulic mud pump. Notably, the new hydraulic mud pump realizes an integrated power configuration, combining the power supply of the mud pump and the drilling rig into one unified engine system. This integrated design simplifies the equipment structure, reduces failure rates, lowers daily maintenance costs, and realizes more coordinated and efficient power output during drilling and mud circulation operations.
